Cheaper bus fares for Woodingdean and Bevendean

Throughout January Brighton & Hove Buses are piloting a £2.50 return fare to the City Centre from both Bevendean and Woodingdean.

Des Turner said; "I am very pleased as it is not just pensioners and people with disabilities that should be encouraged to use the buses.

I hope local residents will make use of this fare and join me in writing to the bus company asking them to make this offer more permanent. During these difficult times it would be good for those who are struggling to be able to give up the expense of running a car - this makes it easier."
