Community Cohesion
Oona King, Chair of the Institute on Community Cohesion, came to Brighton recently to meet local people.
She met representatives of black, ethnic minority and faith communities to discuss what more the city could do to foster better community cohesion.

The former MP for Bethnal Green and Bow was invited by Nicole Murphy, Labour candidate in North Portslade, as part of progress towards Labour's Manifesto for next May.
The packed forum was held in the Goa restaurant, at the heart of the diverse Tarner Area Community. Oona said; "it is too easy for one group or another to be demonised - we need to understand each other and live in mixed communities where we respect diversity."
