This is Labour’s 2007 manifesto for the council elections in May.

Taking the City Forward explains our vision for Brighton and Hove over the next few years and sets out what we promise to do next, if we are still in charge of the council. We have also taken the opportunity to remind you of some of the things we said we’d do when you elected us in 2003 to highlight the progress made since then. There is a lot more to do and with your help we will continue to make our streets even safer and build on our great record of economic prosperity, cultural diversity, social inclusion and environmental wellbeing for a sustainable future for everyone in Brighton and Hove.
