City Council Election May 2007

In the City elections, Labour stood strong candidates in every seat.

Although the Conservatives made gains, they did not achieve an overall majority, meaning Brighton and Hove Council remains in "No Overall Control".

Labour campaigned on the manifesto, Taking the City Forward - which will guide Brighton and Hove's Labour councillors in the period ahead.
