Andy Burnham MP visits the Albion

Labour's Simon Burgess met Cabinet Minister Andy Burnham when he visited Brighton and Hove Albion to see how the team works with young people in the community.

At Simon's invitation Andy saw at first hand the excellent work done by the Albion in supporting community projects and he also reviewed the club's plans for the move to Falmer now that work has finally start at the site.

Albion In The Community provides sports training for children and adults, and also works with people with disabilities.

"I'm delighted that the minister has come to see the incredible work that the Seagulls undertake in the community, working with children and people with disabilities, as well as providing skills training for adults" said Simon.

"This is what football clubs should be about, supporting the communities that support them."
